Concert Review: Joel Veena and Mir Naqibul Islam

The following article is by Elizabeth Wood of the New Leaf CSA farm in Dummerston, Vermont. On September 12 at the Stone Church night club in Brattleboro, Joel Veena and Mir Naqibul Islam played an excellent concert. The music was Indian classical. The audience applauded enthusiastically after every song. The music made me feel relaxed. Veena played the 20-string Indian slide guitar. Naqibul Islam played tabla.
