In Brattleboro on March 2, about 175 people marched to protest Trump's policies. The march started outside 193 Main Street and ended at the food co-op. DeWalt told the Valley Post he's organizing a march to protest Trump's policies on March 14 at 5 p.m., starting outside 193 Main Street in Brattleboro. Sunset is at about 7 p.m. that day. On bridges above Interstate 91 in Holyoke and Longmeadow, Massachusetts on March 4, there were rallies to protest Trump's policies. About 80 people attended the Holyoke rally. Joe Twarog of Florence, Massachusetts was there. He did not reply to an email seeking comment.

About 50 people were at a rally in the Pioneer Valley town of Belchertown on March 3. They were calling on politicians to tax the rich and fund schools. The rally was outside a selectboard meeting. The selectboard's staff person, Jennifer Turner, did not reply to an email seeking comment. A selectboard is like a city council and mayor combined. Belchertown is home to about 15,000 people.

Peg Brigham Alden lives in Putney, Vermont, near Brattleboro. She told the Valley Post she was among about 2,000 people at a JD Vance protest in Waitsfield, Vermont on March 1. Vance was in Vermont to ski. Alden said, “My partner Toby and I went up from Putney. Matt Schibley was also there. He is a member of the Brattleboro school board.”
