Some of the 16,000 people who marched and rallied in Brattleboro,
Keene, Greenfield and Northampton on March 28 will attend a No Kings march on Saturday, September 12 at 10 a.m., rain or shine. If at least 1,000 people show up (estimated by the organizers), they will march in the street (not on the sidewalk), otherwise on the sidewalk: from the park that is directly between the Brattleboro food co-op and the Brattleboro art museum to the area of the library.

Masked secret police terrorizing our communities; an illegal,
catastrophic war putting us in danger and driving up our costs;
attacks on our freedom of speech, our civil rights, our freedom to
vote; costs pushing families to the brink. Trump wants to rule over
us as a tyrant. But this is America, and power belongs to the people —
not to wannabe kings or their billionaire cronies.

Music will be provided by the Peoples' Resistance Marching Band.

This is a non-violent event. Walking and wheelchairs for people
who need them. Organizers are asking people to bring signs. A LIMITED NUMBER of restrooms are available at the co-op and library. Dozens of Brattleboro residents have signed a petition and submitted it to the chair of the select board asking the town to waive its fee for opening the street to pedestrians, as it does for the 4th of July parade and Gallery Walk. Organizers have also asked the town to provide porta-potties.

(9/6/2026 update: Organizers had planned to end the march at the Town Common but later learned about a Humane Society event with many dogs planned for the Common at this time.)
