On June 3 in Northampton, there will be a march calling on President Trump to release his tax returns, and demanding that Congress investigate collusion between Russia and Trump to help him get elected.
βIt is part of a nation-wide march demanding the truth,β Debby Pastrich-Klemer told the Valley Post. She is organizing the Northampton march. It will start at 11 a.m. at 2 Parsons Street. Fifty people had RSVP'd on Facebook as of May 31. More information is at:

Trump wants to cut taxes for the rich and cut programs that help poor people. He has proposed increasing military spending, and reducing investments intended to stop climate change, such as energy efficiency programs, protecting open space, and improving train and bus service, sidewalks, and bicycle paths.
Marches, rallies, and civil disobedience work. That can be seen in the victories in recent years in the Valley that stopped a proposed fracked gas pipeline that would have crossed the Valley on its way from near Albany, New York to near Boston, and that closed the Vermont Yankee nuclear power plant, which is three miles from Massachusetts and a stone's throw from New Hampshire.
This kind of direct action ended slavery, won women the right to vote, and β through the labor movement β won the weekend, and built the middle class. In South Africa, it helped Nelson Mandela get out of prison and end apartheid.
